The city of Providence is experiencing a cultural transformation. New condos and loft-style apartments are springing up. New retailers and restaurants are opening their doors. The Downcity streets are abuzz with an excitement that is unique to urban life. In the midst of this renewal, a new church is opening in the city.

The core group of people starting this new church represents five of the twenty-five neighborhoods in the city of Providence. We are convinced the time is right for a new church, unique in both its message and its ministry, to be opened in the very center of our city. From this center, we envision a church whose effects will spread into all twenty-five neighborhoods and impact our entire city for good.

Our message and ministry will be centered on the person and work of Jesus Christ. We believe that He came to this earth to transform the lives of all who trust in Him and, by extension, to transform the places in which they live from slavery to freedom, from guilt to joy, from despair to hope, and from selfishness to love. Wherever Jesus is trusted in and followed, that life and that city experience a true and lasting renaissance.
