First Community Church is an interdenominational fellowship, affiliated with the United Church of Christ and the Christian Church (Disciples). Our diverse, pluralistic intergenerational congregation welcomes people whatever their age, race or spiritual background. For 100 years, First Community Church has been known for innovation tempered by openness and a commitment to the never ending search for a better understanding of God, other human beings and ourselves. Constantly striving to minister in new and better ways, the people of this congregation seem to thrive on things which are new and different: cutting edge programs, challenging ideas, new experiences that stretch the mind and give wing to the soul.
