* HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! We will celebrate Valentine's Day on Monday February 14th. Those assigned to bring snack this week, please bring something healthy (Ex: muffins, instead of cupcakes; fruit, instead of cookies). Have fun being creative! The kids will get plenty of TREATS this week & we don't want to give them too much sugar. Those of you who'd like to contribute to the fun, stickers or Valentine craft items are always welcome. As far as Valentines go, please bring in, on or before the 14th; 24 Valentines, with your child’s name on the envelope. This helps to distribute them easier. See your child's section of this newsletter to see how each class is celebrating or if anything specific applies. Questions? See your child's teacher. (99 Cent Store or Dollar Tree usually has a lot of Valentine's to choose from if you can get over there during the 1st week of February.) SCHOOL PICTURES ~ Feb. 23, 24 & 25th. These are "dress up" pictures, not the traditional kind we did this Fall. They will be back in time for Easter & Mother’s Day making a great gift idea for Grandma. A fund raiser for our school as well [:)] *Monday, Feb. 14 - Valentines Day!!! Don't forget to plan something special for your Valentine. *Monday, Feb. 21st - WE ARE CLOSED FOR PRESIDENT'S DAY. We are closed 1 day only; NOT both Lincoln & Washington's birthdays. Please know that if your child goes home sick from school they may not return the next day. We strive to keep our Students & Teachers healthy. Kindergarten Registration this month at All Saints' on Eucalyptus. Our sister school ~ Eucalyptus Campus, (where we host our annual Christmas Program) is registering for kindergarten this month. Their kindergarten class consists of 12 children with an outstanding teacher (Ms. Kim's daughter Rebecca who will be finishing her Masters in October)! Please call Lisa if interested or simply head over for a tour @ 651 Eucalyptus Avenue 760- 945-6908. Our public schools allow up to 35 students in their kindergarten classrooms with 25 Holidays, 1 week off at Thanksgiving & Easter and 2 weeks off at Christmas. For those of you working parents that is a lot of days to have to find care for your child. Thank you once again for all our Wish Tree blessings! The children are enjoying all their new toys and craft items; sensory play too. Your gifts have gone a long way in supporting your child's classroom. We are all so grateful [:)] Many blessings, Jenny & Trish
