Our Purpose
Circle Ruth Women's Ministry is designed to encourage women to grow in their faith in Christ, to develop and strengthen intimate friendships with other women, and to provide opportunities to serve and reach our community for Christ. Our purpose is to meet the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of women through various connections and within different communities.

Our Mission:
It is clearly seen throughout the bible that reaching out to the lost is a mandate. We as believers are required to reach out and make disciples. Circle Ruth Women's Ministry tries to focus on an Acts 1:8 paradigm of missions. Believers are to go locally, nationally, internationally sharing the love of Christ as they go. Glorifying God, winning the lost to Christ, encourage fellowship and maturity in Christ while teaching obedience to God's Word. Pastor Diane Saunders would like to welcome you to Circle Ruth Women's Ministry. A place where she feels women is a atmosphere of empowerment and revelation where the women can receive deep insight that will enable them to walk in their specific ministry assignment. The ministry is open to all women: regardless of church affiliation.

emPOWERment Sessions:

Meetings are every second and fourth Saturday of the month and are held at 7504 S. Cottage Grove Chicago, IL from 2pm - 5pm. The purpose of the emPOWERment sessions is to invite women to be transformed as they are inspired and challenged to know and experience God through Jesus Christ, claim and live God’s promises, grow and serve as Christian disciples. These teachings are essential to our daily walk with Christ. Our desire is to ensure that each woman is provided with the essential tools needed to reach their purpose in God and to know who they are in God.

Ladies of Ruth Mentorship Class

This program is offered in the fall and spring each year. This program is designed to assist women in the body of Christ to build themselves up spiritually so that they can assist someone else. Mentoring is an aspect of discipleship. It is important and imperative because it is the sum total of what the purpose of the church is all about. Christ calls us to encourage and equip people! We offer the ladies the equipment needed to be leaders! We do this by helping women to hear and know the Word of God so that they are doers of His word and apply it to their individual lives.

Season's of My Life "Quarterly Chat Series"

As women there are times in our lives where we are overwhelmed with being mothers, wives, daughters, sister’s, girlfriends, students, caregivers, babysitters and the list can go on and on. Then we realize that WOW! My life has changed, I’m unhappy, I have no balance, I have sacrificed so much, I am divorced and it can go on and on! Well our “Chat Series” address those everyday topics that women are faced with and desire to receive help, deliverance from and has not been able to find true help. We cover topics such as: forgiveness, toxic emotions, mother daughter bonds, handling difficult times, contentment, letting go of regret, battling bitterness, releasing old habits that hold you captive and many others.

Our goal is to address the issue at hand, discuss the essential keys to dealing with the issue and providing the most important key to addressing all issues and that is “What does God say about the issue? “. Our chats are real, realistic, non-judgmental and all faiths are welcome. Chats are held quarterly.

Heart 2 Heart Shelter Program

Circle Ruth Women’s Ministry Heart 2 Heart mentoring exists to be a Jesus centered program  aimed at speaking gospel  words  and doing gospel works to display the worth  of God to hurting women faced with homelessness, hardship and discouraged. We speak gospel words by presenting the truth of who Jesus is through prayer, fostering mentoring relationships and personal testimonies.   We do gospel works by loving Jesus through caring for one another, reaching out to women with empowering and encouraging support that will aid them in being set free emotionally, mentally and spiritually so that they may function accordingly and address the issues that they are faced with and provide them the tools needed to stay on the road to freedom.
