Christ's Church Assembly-God
Christ’s Church was incorporated April 1st, 1968 by Pastor Bennie Howard Russell. The church was planted at 6145 N 36th DR Phoenix, AZ 85019.
Following the retirement of Pastor Bennie, Pastor Neil Hill was installed as Lead Pastor in June of 1981. Pastor Neil retired in July of 1992. He was succeeded by Pastor Alan Kirkpatrick who was installed as Lead Pastor in August of 1992.
Pastor Alan felt God’s call to relocate the church to the North Valley. Christ’s Church was able to sell its property to a local Spanish-speaking congregation. They then began ministering to the North Valley by holding Sunday services at Deer Valley Middle School. Pastor Alan retired in July of 2003.
In August of 2003 Christ’s Church voted to have Pastor Todd Kirkpatrick installed as Lead Pastor. He has continued to lead the church on mission in the North Valley. In the summer of 2008 the church was able to begin renting its current facilities located at 22225 N 27th AVE Phoenix, AZ 85027.
Christ’s Church continues to see evidence of God’s grace as He works in and through His people to accomplish His purposes.
