Nobody seems to remember the year that Little Rock Holiness Church was actually built, but we did gather some interesting information about the former pastors that preached there, along with some of its former names. Also, it was said that the church began being built in the early 1970's.
This church is right in the middle of the Edisto Indian people, in what locals call "Creel town". The tribe is known as the Nachez-Kusso tribe, otherwise known as the Edisto Indian Tribe. They are currently seeking federal recognition.
There are a variety of people that attend the church, however. Color, race, and ethnicity has no bars to them. With a mixed congregation, it is easy to feel welcomed by all.
Thanks to Sister Cheryl Mizzell, our information specialist, for putting together this document about the former pastors. Click here to view this document. It has been converted to PDF, for easier viewing. If you do not have Adobe Reader, you may get it here. Thanks.
