THE BIBLE SAYS THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY TO HEAVEN!

Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:16
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Romans 10:9

1. Admit you are a sinner. See Romans 3:10
2. Be willing to turn from sin (repent). See Acts 17:30
3. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you, was buried and rose from the dead. See Romans 10:9-10
4. Through prayer, invite Jesus into your life to become your personal Saviour. See Romans 10:13

What to Pray?

Dear God, I acknowledge that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I believe that He was born of the Virgin Mary. I believe that He died on the cross, that His blood was shed for my sins and that He arose from the dead. I confess that I have disobeyed your commandments. I ask you to forgive me for these sins. I now ask Jesus to come into my heart. Be my Savior. Be my Lord. Be my soon coming King. I will do my best to serve you, be baptized and worship in a Bible-believing church. Thank you, in Jesus name. Amen.

After you have prayed this prayer find someone with whom you can share your new salvation. It is important to spend time reading the Bible. I suggest that you begin with the book of John. The Bible feeds your new spirit inside of you. Jesus did not come into the world to condemn the world but to save the world. From what? Jesus wants to save you from your sinful nature, from death, from yourself. You can be saved if you confess and repent of your sins and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.

(Romans 10:9) (John 3:16) When you accept Jesus into your heart as your Lord and Savior, get "saved" or are “born again" you take the first step on the Way of Salvation. Hell is the reward for people who do not believe in Jesus; Heaven is the reward for those who accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

The Bible tells us that God wants us involved in a local church. He desires for us to build relationships that will help us grow in our Christian walk. In scripture, the Bible is likened to the “washing with water”. The Word of God helps to make us clean. It tells us to be made new. In the church structure that is described in the Bible, there are also various people gifted as pastors, evangelist, prophets, apostles and teachers. Scripture tells us that their purpose is to improve the believers for the work of the ministry.

LIFE IS A TERRIBLE THING TO WASTE

Ephesians 4:11-12 (KJV) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
