Rev. Christopher Chelpka

Pastor Chelpka graduated with an M.Div. in 2010 from Westminster Seminary California. In March 2011, he was ordained and installed as the organizing pastor of Covenant Orthodox Presbyterian Church. Pastor Chelpka is a fourth-generation Arizona. He grew up in Phoenix and studied cello and music education atNorthern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ. He is married to Della and has three children. He is also editor of The Marrow Project, a blog devoted to The Marrow of Modern Divinity.

Rev. David Crum

Pastor Crum graduated from Westminster Theological Seminary in 1982. He was ordained in 1983 and sent to Tijuana, Mexico, where he ministered for 26 years as a missionary, together with his wife, Jane. Since March of 2009 he has served as Regional Home Missionary of the Presbytery of Southern California of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church. Dave and Jane have four children.

Rev. Michael L. Babcock

Pastor Babcock ministered in Scotland as an assistant to the pastor of Calvary Christian Fellowship, Motherwell, Scotland, a Calvary Chapel affiliate, and from 1992-1995 ministered as a co-pastor in the Evangelical Christian Fellowship, Dumfries, Scotland. Pastor Babcock graduated from Westminster Seminary California in 1999 with an M.Div. From 2001— 2007 he served as organizing pastor of Providence Orthodox Presbyterian Church (Las Vegas, NV). In November 2006, Calvin Presbyterian Church called him to be their pastor and he was installed as such in April 2007.

Elder John Waggoner

Elder Waggoner has served a Ruling Elder at Calvin Presbyterian Church since he was ordained in 2004. Previously, John served as a deacon in the Matthews OPC congregation of Matthews, NC where he worshipped for 24 years. When the founding families of Covenant OPC began meeting in 2008 John was the liaison from the Calvin Presbyterian Church Session. John has been married 26 years to Cheryl Waggoner.  They have 5 children – John, Benjamin, Katherine, Gwen and Patrick.
