Oil, lube and filter-
Road test before and after, advise and note on any warning lights on or noises, advise and note on oil leaks change engine oil and oil filter, check air filter and advise, check and top off all fluid levels. Check all hoses and belts and advise, check lights and advise, check tire air pressure and set to manufacture specs, safety check under car. Advise on further repairs as seen. Reset oil change light.
Service induction system-
Clean throttle plate(s), service upper intake system, clean mass air flow sensor, run on bg44k cleaner and add to fuel. Reset ECU and road test 10 miles. (this service most of the time will fix rough idling and stalling when coming to a stop.)
Brake inspection-
Check and advice on brake condition, road test at freeway speed. Check for any warning lights, pulsation, pull tires check all brake linings and pads, measure thickness, measure rotors and drums, wash rear drum brake linings, and check hydraulic system for leaks. Advise on repairs. "Note" if brakes are in a unsafe condition we cannot put back together for liability reasons. When doing brakes, we always refinish rotors and drums to improve bedding-in process to reduce stopping distances, and to also reduce noise-related comebacks.
Cooling system flush-
Run engine on BG cooling system flush kit, reverse pressure flush cooling system, check for leaks, road test 10 miles.
Transmission flush-
Add BG cleaner to fluid, road test on freeway hook up transmission flush machine into cooler lines, pressure flush transmission, make sure transmission is full, road test 10 miles. (This services flushes torque converter and transmission oil pan).
Check engine light-
Road test, check for codes, check voltage and sensor readings involved in condition, advise on repairs. After repairs are done, road tests 10 to 12 miles.
Air conditioning service-
Road test check ac controls for proper function and ac clutch action. Evacuate and hold on vacuum for 30 minutes to check for leaks. Recharge ac system. Check for leaks.
Re-flash for ford, Lincoln, mercury-
Model years: 1996 and newer. Using the latest software version of ids (integrated diagnostic software), reprogram all modules that have available updates. This service works especially well on diesels 7.3l, 6.0l.
Programming ford, Lincoln, mercury-
Model years: 1996 and newer. Using the latest software version of ids (integrated diagnostic software), reprogram the new module that needs to be installed, all available updates will automatically be installed with the re-flash. Every module from ford will be blank and vehicle will not start. For diesels- program new PCM (powertrain control module), or FICM ( fuel injector control module) for vehicle to start if installing new module.
