Christian Education Ministry:
This ministry shall lead the Church
in developing and implementing an effective education and training program.
Foremost of these are:
Sunday School:
The
Sunday School shall be divided into classes and departments as it grows, and operated
under the leadership of a director. The tasks of the Sunday School shall be to
teach the Bible; training all Church members how to worship, witness, learn, apply
its precepts to their everyday lives, and effectively minister to the needs of
others.
Church Discipleship / New Members Classes:
Designed to teach Christian doctrine, ethics, Church policy and
organization, prepare members for baptism, train leaders for the Church, and
provide training for special ministry projects.
Missions Outreach Ministry:
This ministry shall be
responsible for seeking opportunities for local, state, national and
international missions projects and partnerships, and serves the Church in
establishing such projects, providing both organization and leadership.
This ministry shall develop
and implement a strategy for effective programs of community evangelistic
outreach such as home, hospital, nursing home, and prison visitation;
evangelistic meetings inside and outside of the Church; and other programs
designed to reach people with the gospel.
Music and Arts Ministry:
This ministry will plan,
evaluate and execute the music and arts program of the Church: forming choirs
and worship teams, and any special music and arts activities. It is responsible for seeking, vetting, and
recommending people for the positions of music, dance and drama directors,
pianist / organist and musicians, worship leaders, and in assisting the Pastor
with special music for regular and other services of the Church.
