Our Core Beliefs
- The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God.
- There is one God, eternally existent in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
- In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His
sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in
His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the
Father, in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory
to rule a thousand years.
- In the Blessed Hope – the rapture of the Church at Christ’s coming.
- The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.
- Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for personal salvation.
- The redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer.
- The in filling of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.
- In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit; by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.
- In the resurrection of the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.
Our Core Values
Our core values never change. These have been the principles that
have guided the ministry throughout the years. They will see us through
the tough times and keep us focused during the good times. Relationships
are what make church a fulfilling experience. This is one of the
reasons that we concentrate on what the Lord gave us – The Great
Commandment. It starts with our love for God and for those around us.
Our core values are:
- To love God and our neighbor as we love ourselves, this is our first
order of business. We are to love and care for those that are in our
area of influence. This is the essence of ministry. We are to be
motivated by love alone. See 1 Cor 13 – without love we are nothing.
- To minister with a heart of grace and truth. We are to minister from
a point of patience and grace. This allows us to accept sinners in our
midst without legalistic judgment. We are to encourage them to grow out
of the place they are at in their spiritual journey. Truth is what
brings about change and growth
- To see change and growth in the lives of those committed to Christ. (This is the core of discipleship).
- To give our lives in service to the church and the community
- The greatest in the kingdom of heaven will be the servant of all. We
are to give our lives in service to others. This is why we are doing
church.
Our Core Purpose
Our core purpose is the reason we exist. This is what we are called to do.
